Koh Samui. A Tropical Island Paradise |
 Koh Samui is located in the Gulf of Thailand and is the third largest Island in Thailand. Koh Samui was originally inhabited by Thai fishermen around 1500 years ago followed later by Coconut Farmers. Backpackers discovered Koh Samui in the early 1970's and the word started to spread around the world about Koh Samui being an Amazing Tropical Paradise. Koh Samui is now one of the main Tourist destinations in Thailand. People from all over the World flock to Koh Samui for their holidays and with the Amazing White Sandy Beaches, Wonderful Waterfalls, Beautiful Coconut Jungles, Delicious Thai Cuisine and so much more that Koh Samui has to offer it is easy to understand why. |

Koh Samui has two Smaller Islands close by, they are both to the North. Koh Phangan 12km North and Koh Tao 45 km North. Koh Phangan is about 30 minutes away by speedboat and is definitely worth a visit. You could even break your vacation up between Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. |
